A 62 cm by 96 cm poster showing the elements of a CANDU6 pressure-tube inspection tool. The tool was developed at Chalk River and was used on Canadian and off-shore reactors to routinely measure the integrity of the pressure tube in the reactor during shutdowns. It contained a number of ultrasonic and eddy current transducers as well as a linear, variable, differential-transformer to accurately measure pressure-tube dimensions and to detect flaws in the tube structure.
