The WB Lewis award is awarded annually by the Canadian Nuclear Society “To recognize a Canadian scientist or engineer who has demonstrated a level of technical competence and accomplishment in the field of nuclear science and engineering as exemplified by the late Dr. W.B. Lewis during his involvement in the Canadian nuclear energy programme, 1946 to 1973.” The ten-sided, bronze medal, 9 cm in diameter, was awarded to Albert Pearson in 1983. It was presented in a 13 cm by 8 cm by 6.5 cm high black-walnut box.
