Patents Committee retirement memento given to F. Blackstein

Description

A copy of the “thinker” theme on a retirement memento presented to F. Blackstein on his retirement from AECL.  Blackstein had served as AECL chair of the Patents Committee from 1975 to 1985. Persons awarded patents were given a small lapel pin with the thinker image.  The assembly sits on a 23 cm by 13 wooden base.
