A 15 cm tall, stainless-steel model of a heavy-water storage/shipping drum on a 22 cm square wooden base. The artifact was a memento given to Mike Blore of Chalk River in appreciation of his assistance over 15 years with the Port Hawkesbury Heavy Water Plant. The attached plaque reads “AECL PORT HAWKESBURY HEAVY WATER PLANT; MICHAEL H.K. BLORE; IN RECOGNITION OF YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO HEAVY WATER INDUSTRY; Dec 2, 1971 to Nov 3, 1986”.
