Description

An L-shaped aluminum plate (8 cm long arms) mounted on a 17 cm wide by 13.5 cm deep wooden base. The aluminum mount has a high-magnification, photo-metal, electron microscope image of a segment of polished reactor fuel bonded to it. The attached plaque reads “Ross MacEwan, Head, Fuel Materials Branch, 1970-1978”.
