Drink coaster celebrating 50 years of generating electricity with nuclear power

Description

A thin, clear-acrylic disc issued by the Canadian Nuclear Society in 2012 to celebrate “50 Years of Nuclear Electricity in Canada.”  The first nuclear-generated electricity was generated by the Nuclear Power Demonstration (NPD) reactor at Rolphton, ON, in 1962.  The disc measures 10 cm in diameter.
