A 57 cm by 83 cm, colour, poster depicting the features of the 250 MW Gentilly 1 reactor. This natural uranium, boiling water prototype reactor was constructed by Atomic Energy of Canada Limited on the shores of the St. Lawrence River east of Montreal. It achieved first criticality in November 1970 and after a series of runs was shut down in 1977. This drawing was first published in 1972 by Nuclear Engineering International.
