Description

A 54 cm by 65 cm, matted and framed colour photograph showing the blue Cerenkov radiation seen when irradiated fuel rods are kept in water for cooling.  The reverse of the photograph has an AECL identification number of 3888-2.  These photographs were often displayed in department Branch Offices.

Notes:

Photographs taken later than 1976 bore a dating code of XXYY at the start of their number where XX represented the last two digits of the year and YY the corresponding month number (7708 for example meant August of 1977.)
