A 25 cm long, aluminum, depiction of the Chalk River MP tandem accelerator where John McKay worked for many years. The artifact was given to John at the end of his tenure in the Tandem Operations branch in 1996 and was intended to be used as a pencil holder. The diameter at the center is 5 cm and the artifact bears the signatures of thirty-nine of John’s co-workers. The dedication reads ”John McKay, TASCC, 1989-1996”.
