Description

A red and white ceremonial gown worn by W.B. Lewis at the May 1972 University of Toronto Convocation when he was awarded an honorary Doctor of Laws degree.  The Convocation Program was also donated with the gown.

Notes:
This was one of numerous items found in the former home of W.B. Lewis in Deep River following his death.  The new owner of the home donated them to the W.B. Lewis Library which in turn, several years later, donated them to the Society.
