A large (97 cm by 113 cm) framed poster describing the origins of the neutron scattering program which was started by Bertran Brockhouse at NRX in 1957. The main instrument used, a triple-axis neutron spectrometer, is now at the Canadian Science and Technology Museum in Ottawa. Work on these spectrometers led to the awarding of the Nobel Prize to Brockhouse in 1994. Two enlarged photographs are extracted from the panel to show further detail.
