This medal, four centimeters in diameter, was awarded to Albert Pearson by Queens University, Kingston, for recognition as the top graduating student in Physics in the class of 1949. Albert later enjoyed an illustrious career at CRNL and in 1983 was awarded the WB Lewis medal by the Canadian Nuclear Association in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the CANDU program in particular in the area of computer control.
