Two, large, identical, specifications plates for the alternating current generators from the Douglas Point Generating Station. The plates, approximately 1 cm in thickness and measuring 61 cm by 71 cm, are mounted on heavy oak panels. The finished product measures 71 cm by 81 cm. Douglas Point G.S., located in Huron County in Ontario, was the first large CANDU station and succeeded the Nuclear Demonstration Plant (NPD) at Rolphton. It had an electrical output of 220 MW. The generator was built by Canadian General Electric Company to the design of Associated Electrical Industries of Manchester, U.K.
