The certificate of the Honorary Doctor of Science degree awarded to W.B. Lewis by Laurentian University, Sudbury, on 19 May 1977. It had been stored in a blue mailing tube tied with a blue and gold ribbon.

Notes:
This was one of numerous items found in the former home of W.B. Lewis in Deep River following his death.  The new owner of the home donated them to the W.B. Lewis Library which in turn, several years later, donated them to the Society.
