A set of six, beverage coasters produced to commemorate the design power of 50 kW being achieved with the Industrial Materials Pulsed Electron Linear Accelerator (IMPELA). This accelerator, built and commissioned in Bldg. 610 at CRNL, was a prototype for a series of industrial units sold by the Accelerator Business Unit for radiation sterilization and modification of materials. Full power was first achieved on 8 November 1989. The coasters are printed on leather and measure 9 cm in diameter.
