The Facility was being proposed by a large consortium of Canadian and international researchers as a replacement facility for NRU. The poster lists the groups involved; the power industry, universities, government laboratories, international research and the manufacturing industries. Fields of research and use would be; superconducting materials, polymers, biological tissue, semiconductors, minerals, pharmaceuticals and alloys.
